As always with my policy - You are free to use this ship in your AU(alternative universe for those who dont know what its mean), as long as you give me credit for it

(So the Invictus class dreadnought was finally finish, it is the first dreadnought for NTDI ship tree, its largest ship so far for this AU, and despite a details and all that stuff, there is some stuff that i must fix on it, especially the engine section, however ship is already to big, so i would probably end changing half of the ship. But for now till i finish smaller ships i think this will do.)

Invictus class - Dreadnought

Prior to the Invictus NTDI never design or build any dreadnought class starships. Although other shipyards did design and built them, for NTDI it was brand new and biggest challenge. It took almost ten years for NTDI to design and built first ship and first ship the NTDIS Invictus was constructed some sixty years ago (taking that it is seventy years since project Invictus started). Twelve ships of this class were ordered from UEA, four for Indus Kingdom, and two for largest and most powerful defense contracting groups. When launched, Invictus was the strongest and most powerful ship in human territory, there was nothing like it. However with power and size came price, massive cost, for building and maintaining such large ship, not to mention massive crew requirements. Despite all this, twelve ships were built for UEA, and all of those ships remain in service with UEA for sixty years now, recently UEA heavily modernized the class and it is expected that it will remain in service for next sixty years. Indus which buyed and maintained four of this ships did the same thing like UEA, upgrading them and keeping them in service, while defense contracting coorporations did a step further, not only upgrading the massive ships they also turn them into mobile battlestation.

Invictus have heavy weaponary and impressive defenses. It do not carry super weapons (mass destruction weapons) but relay on more conventional ones. This ship can enter the fight even with most modern and advanced dreadnoughts, and thanks to its incredible strong armor can survive the punishment and still fight back.

Invictus is 2940 meters long and have 6220 crew (however with modifications and upgrades, crew requirements is now around 4250, although even this can be cut if needed. Invictus carry 126 fighters-bombers and 40 support crafts.

This ship also can carry large amount of cargo, inside of its massive cargo bays or on the outer rail that is located benith first part of the hull close to the bow.

Invictus is powerful, well defended and well armed ship, all of its main weapons are long ranged, but of course capable of firing on short ranges as well. High Energy Heavy Plasma cannon (with both pulse and beam modes), is the strongest of all weapons, with a range of 32km it can reach almost every ship in the sector, not really accurate on those long distances, but it do lots of damage if hit.  Medium rapid kinetic cannons were mostly for mid range combat. Myriad laser beams, which were placed in large numbers on broadsides act as defense system on its own, but also it can hammer enemy ships that came to close. Although chances that small stealth ships can reach Invictus are slim, even if they came close, defenses like Myriad lasers can do heavy damage to them.  Invictus also carries large amount of missiles and torpedoes (each for its own purpose). With exception, of heavy shields and armor, Myriad (offsenive-defensive) laser beams, Invictus also have short range defenses like Laser pulse defense turrets. This were effective, against all kind of threat, like fighters, bombers, missiles and torps, even unmanned drones. However they do have problem when enemy swarm.

Invictus have three abilities. First is (Fighter-Bombers) a mix of Fighter-Bomber squadron is launched and engage enemy fighters and capital ships. Second ability is (Revenge Pulse), a powerful pulse created by reverse-engineering Magma Cannon, create heat wave that hits every ship in the range, dealing heavy and even crippling damage, down side is that it also damage allies, so use it carefully. Third ability (Shockwave), this is broadside ability, it align all of its turrets to the one chosen side and in same time it fire everything to enemy ship, such firepower creates a shockwave that rip through smaller ships and damage larger ones. Do not be confused this with Revenge pulse, Revenge pulse creates special pulse that travel very very fast and hits everything in the 6km range, Shockwave is created by combined firepower of all of its guns and targets only single enemy.

Invictus is powerful and well defended ship, hard to kill, downside is that it is very slow. Its guns do not move so fast as those of smaller ships, and it need time to target and fire. Smaller enemy ships can use this and buzz around you, but you could still destroy or damage them with Myriad turrets and missiles. Even as this is very powerful ship, always play slow and always think two steps in front before actually doing them.
